Oh, where to begin. we could talk about our first experience with a camera or the handful of accomplishments we're most proud of...but something tells me that you want to know more than that. So, I'll get those out of the way first. We both have fancy degrees, we've published on wedding blogs and magazines, we've donated our services and time to causes and been on the giving end of a whole lot of pro bono work. We've been in the wedding industry for over 10 years and we use Nikon, the fanciest cameras on the planet!
Our History:
We met and fireworks exploded. Literally. One of the earliest memories of falling for each other was under a sky of fireworks. We dated for 7 years before tying the knot. The foundation we built in that 7 years has carried us to today. We started this business in 2009. We've been photographing weddings since 2010. 2014 marked our 5th year in business, a milestone we're proud of. We've been told by strangers that they love watching us work, that we buzz around together like butterflies. We get so excited to spend our weekends together, among joyful people, celebrating love and documenting meaningful moments. Our life and our work is full of intention, passion and adventure.
One of the things we love most about our documentary style to wedding photography is that we give couples
the freedom to be immersed in the joyous and fleeting occasion without worry and then the gift of remembering it after.
Our Life:
We have five cats that rule our house. We have 8 nieces and nephews that we spoil
and an 89 year old neighbor we hang out with on a regular basis.
We love cooking on the grill, cycling on back roads in the country and watching good movies.
Mallory is often found listening to Ben Howard or Allman Brown and planning the next adventure.
Currently, that adventure is to live full time on the road in an RV.
We love California and the West Coast. Ohio is home but our hearts belong in the mountains.
Road trips, camping and hiking are our favorite ways to spend time together.
Justin's an avid gamer and geeks out over comic books and action figures.
Mallory loves reading, concerts and tattoos.
We share a love for hand-crafted cocktails, tacos of all kinds and experiences and people who inspire us.
Here are photographs of our life & adventures over the last 10 years.
