The Process
1. CONTACT
When you send us a message from our contact form, we’ll respond with our complete pricing guide. The next step is the consultation.
2. THE CONSULTATION
Your initial meeting is a simple video chat on Facetime or Skype with Mallory. During the chat we want you to get familiar with our booking process and our approach to shooting your wedding. Immediately after the chat, Mallory will send the online contract and invoice for you to review.
3. HIRE US
Once all of your questions are answered, and you’re ready to book, a simple signature on the contract and a 50% retainer through the online invoice reserves a photographer for your date.
4. WELCOME
As soon as you’ve made things official, we’ll deliver our in-depth Wedding Planning Guide. You’ll find valuable information for planning your timeline as well as a series of questionnaires that we’ll use to get to know you and design your experience.
5. UNLIMITED PLANNING
Throughout our time working with you, we’re available for planning assistance in any way you need. We love when our clients refer to us for timeline questions and planning of the schedule early on, it makes a huge difference for your experience AND your photos
And Then…
6. ENGAGEMENT SESSION
We’d love to plan a couples session with you. It can be an adventure or a date night, an hour or two of just you two being together without any pressure! Engagement sessions start at $450
7. FINAL CONSULT
Around 30-60 days out from your date, we’ll make any changes and finalize your timeline so you can share it with the important people (vendors, family, wedding party.) We can do this over the phone, video chat, or in-person with tacos and drinks. We prefer the latter. However it happens, we’ll put the finishing touches on a photo schedule and make sure all the other details are final so that you can have a care-free, fantastic experience!
Finally…
8. WEDDING
On your wedding day, your photographer will scout for photo locations based on the weather and the available natural light based on the schedule of your day.
They'll be there to document getting in the dress, tying the ties, and they'll stay through the first few open dance songs. If you need more than 8 hours of coverage, you can add additional hours.
9. DELIVERY
We usually send a preview within two weeks of the wedding. Within ten weeks (usually sooner), your gallery of fully edited photos will be online.
We'll send your USB via snail mail.
10. TANGIBLES
We offer complete album design and would highly recommend something tangible to preserve your photographs. You have the print rights to the photos for personal printing, or we can print for you through the online gallery. We recommend the latter.
