About Us
We’ve been working together for a really, really long time.
We didn’t start in weddings—we started as servers at a fine dining restaurant in 2003. We fell in love during the dinner rush, when Mallory turned mid-walk and ran straight into Justin—and a full tray of drinks—and we’ve been together ever since. We’ve never not worked together.
What began as freelance web design in the early 2000s turned into wedding photography by 2010, where we found our rhythm capturing honest moments and real connection.
Justin holds a Master’s in 3D Animation from the Savannah College of Art and Design and works full-time as a college professor while pursuing a career as a lighting artist in animation. The short film he recently worked on was almost nominated for an Oscar.
Mallory earned her Master’s from Kent State University and now runs a full-time commercial and portrait photography studio, working with brands big and small. She also teaches photography and drawing, and facilitates mindfulness and creative flow workshops and retreats that help others reconnect with their creativity.
We’ve been building a creative life together for over two decades—chasing light, meaning, and work that feels like us. These days, we take on a limited number of personal, intentional weddings for kind, curious humans who value presence over posing and want their photos to reflect how it all felt—not just how it looked.
We believe every story deserves to be seen and celebrated. We're committed to creating a space that's safe, welcoming, and inclusive—for all identities, all backgrounds, and all ways of being. We value people first—your voice, your experience, and the story that's uniquely yours.
Since 2009
Back in the Day
Before the gear was fancy and the straps (and shoes) were ergonomic, we were just out there—side by side—hauling bags, fluffing dresses, fixing boutonnieres, and documenting the good stuff with whatever light we had. These behind-the-scenes photos are proof: we’ve been in it, together, for a long time. Still laughing, still chasing the magic, still all in.
